Heart/Lung Presumptions
George Helm Serves in 2011 on a Panel of Experts

In the Summer of 2011, George Helm served as an expert on a panel of highly recognized authorities lecturing on Heart/Lung Presumptions in Workers’ Compensation Cases Involving Firefighters, Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers throughout the State of Florida. Speakers on the panel with George Helm included Honorable Gerardo Castiello, Honorable Charles M. Hill and Honorable Laura Roesch as well as Geoff Bichler, Esquire.  The seminars have been held in Monroe County, Dade County and Panama City.  Future seminars will be held in Orlando and Jacksonville.  The seminars are approved for CLE credit, Recertification Credit by the HR Certification Institute and CEU credits for insurance adjusters.

This is the second year in a row that George Helm has lectured as an expert and specialist in the area of Heart/Lung Presumptions, often referred to as “Presumption Claims.” In 2010, George Helm also spoke throughout the state of Florida on issues related to police officer and firefighter claims. Additionally, he taught on this topic when he served as a Guest Lecturer at Barry University Law School.
